BBC NEWS BULLETIN NO. 18
There was only one change to the premiership ladders over the weekend that was the Six-a-side a team rose one position, well done guys.
Midweek pennant starts this Tuesday and Selection were in touch with all opposition clubs and organised an earlier start, great fore-thought and most appreciated by all players. Just when the second side looked like it might win its first game the thermometer recorded 36.2 and we had to wait an extra hour to see if it came down but no luck so it was a drawn result. So upsetting.

There is a sheet out now for the Social game organised as there is no pennant on this day. Starting at 1 p.m., uniform and a nice Australia Day afternoon tea. Please get your names down by next Thursday, 24th for catering purposes and join in the fun.

It is to be held on Monday, 4th February from 6:15 at the Elsternwick Park North Pavilion, 164 Glen Huntley Rd, Brighton. If you would like to attend please speak to Terry Cole.
I think it’s time to close – have a good week, enjoy your bowls, do be careful in the heat, slip, slop, slap, lots of water, wet towel round your neck and help each other.
Don’t let yesterday use up too much of today.
